The Protestant Reformation is not just a historical event that we learn about in text books. It was a necessary return to the purity of the gospel which had been buried under layers of the man-made religion of the day. On the 502nd anniversary of the emblematic event of the Reformation, in which a rightly unsettled monk named Martin Luther nailed 95 theses to the door of Castle Church in Wittenburg, we are going to remember the Reformation.
Joining us is an expert in the field, Mike Gendron with Proclaiming the Gospel. Mike will be teaching us on why the Reformation was necessary, key figures and places of Reformation, and why Reformational Theology is needed today.
